What Is Clinical Research?
Clinical trials are carefully designed studies that test whether new medications and therapies are safe and effective before they become widely available. Every study follows a protocol reviewed by an independent ethics board (IRB), and participants are closely monitored by our medical team from the first screening visit to the final follow-up.

Meet Dr. Alen Hidalgo, MD
Dr. Hidalgo is a board-certified psychiatrist and the founder of Hidalgo TMS Psychiatric Services. Since 2022 he has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in more than 20 clinical trials, from early-phase studies to large Phase 3 programs, and he now leads Hidalgo Clinical Research Institute in Miami.

Health insurance is usually not required to take part in a clinical study. A research coordinator will confirm the details for each study.
Can I leave a study once I start?
Yes. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time without affecting your regular care at Hidalgo TMS.
