About This Condition
Before a new medicine can be tested in patients, researchers need to understand how the body absorbs, processes and eliminates it. Healthy volunteers make this possible by taking part in carefully supervised Phase 1 studies.

- A Phase 1 two-period study of how multiple doses of itraconazole affect a single dose of an investigational medicine in healthy participants
Who May Be Eligible?
Healthy volunteer studies usually enroll adults in good general health who are not taking regular medications. Some studies include overnight stays, and participants are usually compensated for their time.
