Dr. Castro-Sánchez earned her First-Degree Specialist in Child Psychiatry from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, and is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and other developmental conditions, as well as adults facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and stress-related challenges.
Known for her compassionate and empathetic care, she creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients can develop emotional awareness, self-esteem, and effective coping skills. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and holistic wellness practices.
