Yalile Cabrera is a dual-board certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. Under the supervision of Dr. Hidalgo, Yalile combines her experience of more than 12 years in the Operating Room with a passion for mental health to help make a difference in her community. She attended Barry University where she earned her Master’s degree in Science. Yalile believes that while mental health has always been an essential piece of healthcare, it has not always been treated as such; she hopes to drive that change. She’s passionate about her profession and believes in the mind/body/spiritual connection, and we are made up as a whole person and not a series of parts, just as Hippocrates “The Father of Medicine.” She has always enjoyed helping others and finds her work very rewarding. In addition to English, Yalile is fluent in Spanish.
